Preschool Level (Including Infants & Toddlers):

• Child Care Director – Preschool ~ Minimum Requirements include: Must be at least 21 years of age; have an AA Degree in Early Childhood or related field; have at least 2 years’ experience in a licensed childcare program; be qualified as both a preschool teacher and as an infant/toddler teacher
• Child Care Teacher – Preschool ~ Minimum Requirements include: Must be at least 19 years of age; have at least 1 year experience in a licensed childcare program; and have the 90hr. certificates for either preschool or infant/toddler; have a high school diploma or GED
• Child Care Aide ~ Must be at least 16 years of age

School-Age Level:

• Child Care Director – School Age ~ Minimum Requirements include: Must be at least 21 years of age; have a high school diploma or GED; have at least 2 years’ experience in a licensed childcare program; be qualified as a school-age teacher.
• Child Care Teacher – School-Age ~ Minimum Requirements include: Must be at least 19 years of age; have at least 1 year experience in a licensed childcare program; and have the 90 hr. certificates for school age; have a high school diploma or GED
• Child Care Assistant Teacher – School-Age ~ Minimum Requirements include: Must be at least 18 years of age; have at least 800 hours experience in a licensed childcare program; have a high school diploma or GED; and have either a college transcript or the 9 hr. Communication certificate
• Child Care Aide ~ Must be at least 16 years of age
